Álvaro González is an Associate Professor at Universidad Católica de Chile (UC). He holds degrees in Civil Engineering, an MSc, and a PhD, specializing in road engineering and materials. With over 20 years of professional and academic experience, his primary focus lies in developing new technologies to enhance productivity within the local road industry. His current research centres around self-healing and sustainable materials for road construction, the utilization of recycled materials, and soil stabilization techniques for the productive sector.
